QUICK FIX ADHESIVES - 30 MINS HOLDING TIME


A Single-Component, Polyurethane-Based Adhesive

Description ::
DOWSIL 3450 Instant FIX Adhesive is a single component, polyurethane based adhesive particularly suitable for interior or exterior general construction work jobs that require high initial tack.

 Important Features ::
  • Single Component
  • Thixotropic, Non-Sag
  • Suitable for vertical applications
  • Good bonding strength on wooden substrates
  • Fast Curing and reasonable press time
  • Easy to apply
  • Beige in colour
  • Not suitable for Polyethylene, PP, Nylon, ABS
  • Can be applied on 2-way or 1-way stick application
  • Coverage: 10 running ml for a 2-3 mm thk bead

  • Suitable for bonding on surfaces such as-

  • Mounting wooden construction elements, wood and plaster panels, plaster ornaments and decorative wooden trimmings


    • Performance Highlights::
  • High-strength adhesive for many applications
  • Good initial Tack
  • Just apply, place the substrate and press
  • 30 mins holding time
  • Brick Work, Wood, Decorative flashings, stone, tile
  • No support needed after 1-2 hrs of holding time
  • Remains Elastic


    •  Instructions::
  • The application temperature should be between 5deg C and 35deg C. Moistening the substrates slightly will provide stronger adhesion. Adhesive should be applied to only one side in a straight or wave-like form within 2 minutes. Mechanical fasteners must be used to keep the materials together (1-2 hours) until the adhesive cures totally. Fresh adhesive can be cleaned with acetone.
  • Storage & Shelf Life: 12 months between 5deg C and 25deg C in closed original packaging.

    This product is available in 310 ml disposable cartridges depending on location of purchase.

     Caution ::
    Users are advised to conduct their own tests to check suitability to specific applications.
