Description

DOWSIL 1080 is a one-part, neutral (non-acid) cure silicone sealant of paste-like consistency. It cures to a rubbery elastomer when exposed to moisture in the air. Ideal for corrosion-sensitive materials where acid-curing sealants cannot be used.

Sealing dissimilar metals and corrosion-sensitive surfaces (Chrome, Copper, Steel)
Formed-in-place gaskets for gearboxes, pumps and compressors

Caulking joints in ductwork
Bonding signs and letters to metal, masonry and concrete
Appliance parts bonding and sealing
