DOWSIL™ 1000 (formerly Dow Corning® DC 1000) is a premium one-part, neutral-cure silicone sealant formulated specifically for perimeter joint sealing between uPVC or aluminium window/door frames and building masonry structures.
Engineered for demanding architectural fenestration, it cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture to produce a tough, flexible silicone rubber seal that accommodates joint expansion and contraction without cracking, degrading, or losing bond strength.

DOWSIL™ 1000 is engineered for exterior and interior building perimeter weatherproofing:
- Perimeter gap sealing between uPVC window and door frames and exterior plaster/concrete masonry walls.
- Perimeter weather-sealing for powder-coated and anodized aluminium fenestration systems.
- Interior joint caulking around architectural window sills, door trims, and building masonry.
- General construction gap filling requiring a durable, non-staining, flexible neutral elastomer.
